What will the prices be, how much are the stocks?

The situation remains non-critical, yet we are taking proactive steps for a swift response. Environment, Climate and Energy Minister Bojan Kumer stated this clearly. He emphasized the importance of a timely approach, urging further preparation among other nations.

Several countries are also mobilizing, and some have already initiated the activation of their established safety reserves. We intend to follow suit. Some disruptions at various service stations have persisted for several days.

These issues primarily stem from logistical challenges and the considerable distances separating remote stations from available stocks. The extended distances, coupled with a significant surge in petroleum derivative sales over the past few days, have exacerbated the situation. Minister Kumer confirmed that the release of oil reserves will be initiated tomorrow.

He clarified that it will likely take a day or two for the process to fully commence. “Our objective is to send a clear signal to both traders and the markets – a demonstration that we are maintaining control over the circumstances.” The release aims to address some concerns regarding the availability of stocks at service stations.
