As the Traffic Information Center also reports, the road Podlehnik-Rogatec has been closed due to the effects of the storm in Žetalah. According to the head of the Ptuj branch of the Emergency Service Department, Dragomir Murko, hail has damaged a large part of the region, most notably in the halo region from Makol to Zavrč, as well as in the vicinity of the Dornava and Gorišnica municipalities, including Kidričevo, and to a lesser extent in the area of the Slovenske gorice. So far, 45 interventions have been recorded, among other things, firefighters had to intervene in around 15 uncovered roofs on residential buildings.
“More damage will be caused on agricultural land,” Murko added.
