He drove at 119 km/h with the 50 limit, more drivers were treated

Police officers from the Celje Traffic Police Station diligently observed traffic flow throughout the recent weekend. The officers focused intently on both the physical and psychological well-being of drivers, alongside strict enforcement of speed regulations. During the night from Saturday to Sunday, members of the Celje Police Department intervened when a private vehicle driver displayed clear indicators of intoxication.

Authorities reported that a subsequent breathalyzer test revealed a blood alcohol concentration of 0.85 milligrams per liter of exhaled air. Furthermore, a rapid drug screening confirmed the presence of cocaine and amphetamines within the driver’s system. Consequently, the driver was taken into custody until he was completely sober, and his driving license was immediately seized.

A formal complaint is currently being prepared for submission to the District Court in Celje. Yesterday afternoon, police officers at the Šempeter highway exit conducted a routine check on a driver in a private vehicle. While in operation, the driver was discovered to be driving.
