The accident occurred on Saturday around 11 p.m. The driver of a car with Slovenian registration plates was driving on the DC75 state road when he suddenly drove into an unlit curve on the bridge. Due to his uncontrolled speed and the condition of the road, he lost control of the vehicle, broke the protective fence on the bridge and drove into the sea.
The driver was found dead, writes the Istra Glas. The body of the man was taken to the pathology department of the General Hospital in Pula, where they will conduct an autopsy to determine all the circumstances of the death. The police are continuing their investigation and trying to determine the circumstances of this tragic traffic accident.
