Gregor Ravnik has released a new song from his latest album, Verjamem, titled V naši ulici. The singer describes it as a gift for everyone on St. George’s Day, which also marks his birthday.
This nostalgic track evokes memories of the past, specifically his childhood, recalling a vibrant atmosphere in their street and children playing outdoors. “The song V naši ulici takes me back to my childhood, when we had fun on the street, when we played outside, with bikes, when we ran down the streets and through the city, so, yes, that is my gift for St. George’s Day,” Ravnik explained.
The Primorec also created a video for the song, incorporating footage from his youth alongside recent images. The quiet coastal streets are interwoven with scenes of today’s Gregor and archival videos from his childhood. “I am pleased that they filmed us, showing us when we were having fun, when we were playing outside, when we were running,” he added.
The video captures a sense of timelessness, reflecting on a cherished era.
