We all know that with age our body no longer works as it once did. Aging is a process that affects each individual differently – some remain healthy until the end of their lives, while others quickly face the so-called physical fragility. Fragility means that the body needs more time to regenerate, but at the same time the risk of falls, hospitalizations and more serious health problems increases.
A new Australian study, in which more than 12,000 people over 70 years of age participated, examined whether simple activities such as reading, writing or socializing in clubs can help keep the body stronger and more resistant to disease.
