Frankfurt Airport Executive Assures Passengers of Summer Flight Operations
Frankfurt, Germany – Passengers traveling through Frankfurt Airport and Brnik have been reassured by airport executive Dr. Michael Schulte regarding potential disruptions to summer flight schedules. Speaking in an interview published today in Handelsblatt, as reported by the German press agency dpa, Schulte addressed concerns about kerosene availability.
“I would like to make it clear to every passenger that they should not worry about booking at the moment,” Schulte stated. He is confident that there will be enough kerosene in Europe for the summer season if current projections hold true, and anticipates no operational issues extending through the end of the year. Schulte emphasized that the airport is prepared to manage any regional shortages.
“In the event of a shortage in certain regions of the world, passengers will be properly looked after,” he confirmed. He further noted that countries like India and China are proactively addressing the situation by establishing reserves. “Any plane that can land there will also be able to take off again,” Schulte assessed, suggesting a collaborative approach to mitigating potential challenges.
The executive’s comments aim to alleviate passenger anxieties surrounding global fuel supply.
