The Sprint was a thrilling finish. In the first laps, George Russell and Kimi Antonelli from Mercedes collided. The Briton and the Italian both hit the track in the sixth lap, Antonelli lost a lot of time and slipped for Lando Norris.
Norris held on to Russell, but he couldn’t make a successful attack. He had a lot of trouble with the aggressive Antonelli, who also defended second place before the race. Russell, who already won the qualifying sprint in Montreal, is also the first favorite for the win in the qualifying for the Sunday race.
His biggest rival is to be found in his teammate Antonelli, and he will be dangerous for Norris.
