Slovenian text: Genetics We often hear that genetics is just a reason for laziness, but that’s not true. Our genes have a significant impact on our physical build and how quickly we lose or gain weight. That’s why some people, despite eating healthy and exercising, do not achieve the look we see in magazines – often these pictures are also artificially altered.
This is not a reason to become lazy and eat unhealthy food. Even though our body may never look like it does in photos, we can do a lot for our health with movement and healthy eating. We should choose movement and food primarily for better health, not just for a better look.
