One year, eleven months and six days since the SNG Drama moved to the Litostrojska building, 16 more premieres later, renovation work is still ongoing. Entrance to the building is forbidden due to the risk, work is still standing, said SNG Drama director Ivana Djilas. In the center of Ljubljana, they are currently using only part of the building, and even that is for storage.
Actors, directors and management have proven in the last two seasons that they can create even in improvised spaces, but they are wondering if the location in the middle of an industrial zone is suitable for a national theater.
