The representatives of the Centre for Non-Governmental Organizations of Slovenia (CNVOS), Amnesty International Slovenia, Voice of the People, Umanotera, Workers’ Advisory Council, Radio Student and Women’s Lobby gathered today at the press conference. They were particularly critical of the mentioned criminal complaint against Filip Dobradić, who was prosecuted by the MP Kokot. According to her assessment, he committed a criminal act of public incitement of hatred because of his call for voters to press the Truth on the MPs and not to take away their right to vote in the referendum.
The non-governmental representatives were also critical of the amendment to the Labor Relations Act, which was submitted last week, which abolishes the obligation for employers to deduct union dues directly from employees’ salaries. “It would be naive to take these measures as isolated, unconnected actions,” she said.
